With a strong foundation in classical piano from the age of seven, Ezekiel Victor discovered a love for jazz and blues piano in his early high school years after previously having experimented with jazz on the tenor saxophone.
Zeke has played piano with a number of groups in southern California in a wide variety of performance settings, from piano trio to big band to latin to traditional solo piano.
In May 2007, he produced his first album with bassist Pablo Motta and drummer Canaan McDuffie, available for purchase on his Web site and select online music retailers.
Ezekiel became interested in computer programming around age 12 during his middle school years. He is self-taught and functionally able in numerous programming languages including C#, C++, Visual Basic, XHTML and CSS, PHP, ASP, JavaScript, and RegEx. He regularly makes use of each language in his work at the UCLA Center for World Languages, on his personal Web site and as Webmaster and Software Developer for various organizations.
Zeke practices clean, consistent programming syntax and easy-to-understand methods that allow for optimum operating efficiency and timely updates with minimal room for error.
In addition to his knowledge of programming, Zeke has extensive experience with graphic design in Photoshop, animations and interactivities in Flash, and video and audio editing with Premiere and Audition.
Zeke works in technology as a programmer and in entertainment as a jazz pianist. Along with his love for computers and music, he enjoys traveling and photography as further means of escape from the ordinary.
